The Las Vegas Raiders have one game remaining in the season before having to make multiple decisions that will impact the future of their organization.

Interim Coach Antonio Pierce's time at the helm could continue or end, but Pierce isn't taking the time to reflect.

"Yeah, the bye week was kind of cool [to reflect]. I did that during the bye week," Pierce said. "But other than that, no, sir. It's been focusing on winning each and every game, getting our team the best opportunity, putting ourselves in a position to win games, making changes, making adjustments, and self-reflection."

Pierce's focus now is on the game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday in the final game of the season.

Beyond that, he says he'll reflect on it when his coaching days are over.

"Not being flat-line with anything we are doing, I always trying to find an edge," Pierce said. "So, at the end of the day, when will I be satisfied? I always look back on my career; I really didn't reflect on my career or what was going on as I played until I finished. And whenever I get done coaching and if it's here or wherever else it might be, that's when I reflect. But right now, I'll be honest, I am very focused on today."

Pierce says the Broncos are a very different team than when the Raiders beat them in the first week of the season.

"I think confidence is there," Pierce said. "I think they've understood what their head coach has asked of them, along with the offensive and defensive coordinators and special teams. You can see the growth and improvement each and every week.

"You can obviously see there was about a month stretch where they have been playing really, really good football as a team. And I think defensively, they've really stepped up a notch. I mean, they're playing at a very, really high level, giving their offense great opportunities to score points and win games.

"What I see is a team that's just like us. They're going to play. This is not an exhibition game. This isn't preseason four. This is Week 18, for us the last game, a divisional game at home. I think it's going to be a really, really good game."

The players in the locker room have repeatedly voiced their opinions and support for Pierce as the team's next head coach. A resounding victory at home in the season's final game would be a good way of backing up their words.

The Silver and Black finish the 2023 NFL Regular season this weekend at home by hosting their AFC West rival, the Denver Broncos.
