8 News NOW and our Community Pride partners have helped strength Southern Nevada by supporting numerous programs since its inception in 1987. The goal of the Community Pride program is to proactively seek out community needs, empower local charities and inspire our community to get involved. Measurable success has been achieved by raising funds, needed supplies, and/or awareness for programs in need.
